John Krasinski brought Jack Ryan to the small screen for the first time with this Prime Video series after four different actors played the CIA operative in the movies. However, unlike the movies, which were based on Clancy novels, Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan took the character, and other fan favorites from the novels, and dropped them into new stories.
